Eibach springs and damper kit for vRS.

Featured Replies

Not sure how long its been up on thier site or if anyone has this kit fitted but Eibach now list a fully matched spring and damper kit for the vRS (960kg front axle weight).

Part number is - 70-79-001-05-22

Not sure on prices however but I should imagine its pretty good.

I couldn't find a price so I've e-mailed Eibach.

Would this kit be different from the Pro-kit springs and dampers for the vRS?

Thanks for the info Ross. For those of us who've already fitted the springs, do they list part numbers for the dampers alone? Or are they in fact the same ones previously offered as applicable to the whole Fabia range I wonder? And given the choice, would you choose the Eibach dampers over your Koni adjustables?

I've been looking at the possibilty of Bilsteins. The Bilstein rep I spoke to reckoned they'd go great with the Eibach springs, which he said were better than Bilstein springs! (Bilstein don't make their own brand springs themselves apparently). Anyone out there tried them?

Right ive done a bit more research on the Eibach site

The kit as mentioned above is the 'Pro System' kit, comprising of the correct springs and fixed rate dampers.

It doesnt state what the springs and dampers are but i'd guess they are the Pro Kit Springs and the Pro Dampers boxed as a set.

Choice wise i'd probably still plump for the Koni's as ive used the Eibach/Koni combination for a long time and they have allways been good. I think youll find the Eibach dampers are re valved Sachs dampers, but ive also fitted them before and they are also very good, its up to you and your budget.

I think I have the same dampers on my car, but different springs. Can't fault them one bit yet - comfortable for general driving, and excellent when pushed.

Ditto! Have discovered that they like being pushed and going into corners faster and faster has so far not unsettled them! :D
