Warning lights just came on

Featured Replies

Just been driving and had the traction control light on the abs light on and the handbrake light flashing. Pulled over and turned the ignition off and on and there are gone? Any ideas? is this anything to worry about or just the fabia being sensitive? Thanks

This happend on mine one day the ASR light stayed on then turned the ignition off and back on again and everything was fine and had no problems since so should be ok

my car does this every year in the cold, i dunno if the sensors freeze or what is the problem but seems to be fine first thing in the morning as it sits in a garage with underflo0r heating, but when i leave it outside over night these lights are on as soon as i move off, seems to be the cold annoying my vrs

This happened to me on Sunday but I was messing about in the snow. I was applying the handbrake and accelerating at the same time (ASR switched off) to control the angle of my slide :giggle:

After a couple of goes I noticed the ABS warning light was on, so I stopped messing about and tried to switch the ASR on again. Needless to say this didn't work and neither did the ABS, however after switching the ignition off and on again all was well. I guess the various systems just got a bit confused with me messing about. It was good fun though :)
