Evening all,

My story continues on the misfiring 2.0tdi (BKD) octavia.

The dealer called me today to let me know that after diagnosis, they cannot fix the car and say that any further work

would just be guessing as they feel they have exhausted all avenues.

Does anyone know if a fuel temp sensor would cause a misfire (if contaminated)

I've read that some mechanics clean/change the fuel temp sensor after a tandem pump failure....

How old is the car? I'd look to try another dealer. As the 'experts' they should be able to repair all faults with Skoda models.

Try contacting Skoda UK to see if they can help?

Does anyone know how to set the daytime running lights. If I can't do it myself, who can do it a lot cheaper than Skoda. All it is, is 5 minutes reprogramming the ECU! Thanks
