Replacement filter.

Featured Replies

Hi guys still trying to decide what to do with the filter or induction side of things, I have got my car revo'd. With regards to both the green cotton filter and then K and N induction, will both have a good chance of breaking my maf? and also do you get much more engine noise from the replacement filter? The reason i wanted the inductuion kits was for the noise, but if the MAF is going to die Then it is not worth it.

P.S. A green filter shouldnt affect your MAF, and it isnt over oiled like a K&N.

Same with me too, id quite like an induction noise...

I might bite the bullet, buy the K&N and see how I get on with it... If its a yay then i shall keep it, if its a nay then on eBay it goes

Either way round i will write a review, whether it be a positive one or a negative one :)

I know this may be controvesial and I apologise in advance, but the PD 130 engine is never going to sound as nice as a Clio Sport or a CTR or any petrol with a decent sized engine, and an induction kit is only going to highten the diesel drone in traffic. Get the Milltek Sports Exhaust with the first Milltek diesel sports cat (I know it costs much more) if you want a nice exhaust note which isnt intrusive & which will make people stare & you smile.
