alloy wheels

Featured Replies

Hi, got a 2003 Elegance TDI 1.9 which I kerbed last night in the snow. It wrecked the nearside alloy which I need to replace. On inspection the wheel is a 61/2J x 16H2 ET 42 - whatever that means! There's also a series of codes on the inside of the wheel - TT ID01A A1517, IVO 601025M, YD3 1669-2, & HL CZ X. Can anyone tell me what type of alloys these are and where I can get a relatively cheap replacement?

Hi Kev

Not the most techincal of answers from me but I know that 61/2J x 16H2 ET 42 are details of the wheel size, width and offset (how much it sticks out) the rest of the code means nothign to me i'm afraid.

I think the Elegance was fitted with Ride alloys as standard which look like this:

If yours is not this design check out this page on the Skoda Accesories website for the optional wheels.

I'd try www.skospares.com for a replacement or your local breakers yards, or stick up a wanted thread in the releveant section on here!

Thanks Guys. Now I've seen the picture it's definitely the Ride. I'll see if I can get a second hand one first though. That'll teach me for playing in the snow!
