Diagnostic.... is this good?

Featured Replies

well im quite happy at the mo, just went to savilles garage (skoda dealer) in kiddi, its family owned ond i saw good reviews so i thought give them a try and diagnose my central locking fault:) the guy i spoke to was very knolegable and gave me what i think is a great price on the diagnostic (he origionly quoted £89 down the fone but when i came in and said about £80 isnt it he said yeh we will do it for that sooo prety good) Also i gota say its the most friendly and welcoming dealership ive ever been to :) Hats off to patrick sword and mark taylor and the rest of the guys and girls there!

Now then just wana heer your opinions for a skoda dealership is £80 good he said for that price hed plug in the computor strip the door and take out the module inspectit and fix it if its a minor fault like loose connection ect. if it is the module it will cost £400 to replace that and the loom but he said hed try evrything he can not to replace it all he recons it could just be a simple loose wire or a bit of moisture. fingers crossed  :p

My EML came on the other day so took it to my local skoda dealer and had it scanned for faults, they cleared the faults and told me what was up with it all for free :D

I was expecting to pay something for having it scanned but nothing so its all good lol

The EML has come on again so need to get it back in again and get the problems sorted :(

Sounds like same problem as mine lol.. in the end it was a new convenience unit that needed to be changed and was something like £250 fitted..
