My 365 project

The Nikon D40's are great cameras, I have one myself and get great results.

My main problem with the D40 is that it produces alot of noise when pushing the ISo to 800+. And the fact that the 18-55mm kit lens is ****e..

I realy want a D90 at some point this year if I can ..

In what way does it take getting used to?

Just controlling everything from the top LCD and the 11 point AF system with 3d tracking etc. didn't like it at first but you soon get used to it and also got a 35mm f/1.8 lens to play with. Haven;t used it for ages but a 365 photo project looks good and a good way to learn.

I knew it was going to be a hard day to get a photo as today I was my last day with my current employer so had lots to do. Woke to 1.5" of snow so snapped this when leaving for work as a backup incase I couldn't get time for another.

can you not use a tripod to keep the iso low where it dictates?

Brilliant pictures you have.

I love the pure clarity of the D90.. A friend has just bought one and put a wide screen lens on it, some of the pictures he took while we were out on the hills were incredible!

Great looking project, great pictures B)
