Not very exciting news

It is a bit busy, but then so is the new Astra dash.

Skoda will really have to up their game with the Mk3 Octavia....

It also looks a lot like an Astra. I hope Skoda keeps away from copying. We had managed to get away from the "All cars look the same" of the 80s

I like it!

There's bits of Leon in it, too.

I like it. A big improvement over the current fugly model.

The back end looks a bit Mazda 3 to me (the same platform?)

Also agree with the comments on the interior. Looks like the designer had just got back from watching transformers.

I'd prefer something a lot simpler. A busy interior always looks cheap. Lot's of buttons and lights to detract from the poor materials.

Does anyone else think that the facelift Kia Cee'd actually looks like the new focus. I think it looks overdone and a bit cheap, the front on view looks like its about to sneeze. That dash is awful how many buttons and different materials can you fit on one car and again it looks like the Kia. I know VAG dashes can be a bit dull but at least you cand find where things are that looks more complicated than an aircraft cockpit.

It's a Kia/Megane/Fiesta mash-up!

No I don't like it I'm afraid but then I've never been a fan of the Focus - badly designed and poorly made with poor materials that don't match between panels. They may handle OK but I'd never buy one - the quality is just too poor.

That looks very good to me.

I like it a lot.

I like the front but the back is  I'm not a fan of fords but I'm sure it will be a good car like the current model.

Very anonymous now.

Looks like so many other cars of that size/catergory sadly.

I loved the Mk1 when it came out, and still do.

Radically different sharp edged and stood out amongst all the hum drum stuff of the time.

Same goes for the new Ka against the superbly designed original one. They kept it going for 12 years, so something must have been right about it...love it or hate it.

Absolute munter of a thing now.

New Fiesta is pretty, but oh dear, what a truly dreadful interior.

I saw pics of this on Evo yesterday lunch. I'm actually quite surprised that most of you dislike it - I'm quite impressed with its exterior and interior, looks great!

I'm not a Ford fan by any means. In fact the last Focus I had was fraught with fuel injection, DMF and starter motor issues - all common problems with previous generations of Focus, and enough of a PITA to move it on. But it handled well, was comfortable, and was solidly built.

There are similarities to the Fiesta, and indeed it does remind you of the Leon. From an initial look, I think it's a vast improvement on the shape of the old focus.

Thumbs up Ford!

Why oh why have they put a Honda Sickbrick front bumper on it?

Very bland. Although im sure the RS will look fantastic.

looks like a kia ceed

Looks pretty good, but as said - like a lot of other cars. And the C'eed is hardly a piece of original design is it? ;)

Not quite sure what they've done with those rear light clusters though!

Steve

I'll have to agree with you all, interior is cack! and look at the size of the air vents you could loose your mobile down there.

lines not dis-similar to the 1series beemer from some angles.

Looks good, but if prices start at £15k for the base model (read it somewhere the other day) they will start to price themselves out of the company car market time you spec up a Diesel version, it's getting that way with this current model?

Looks like a Mazda to me, no bad thing really. Still a Fix Or Repair Daily though.
