How much MPG do you get in your 1.8 T

Featured Replies

The second picture looks like litres of fuel used per hour, and as rob said the next one is litres used per 100km

You might be able to change the regional settings of the display from litres to gallons using VAG-Com?

13 mile trip to work mix of town, dual carriageway and motorway average about 36. On long motorway trips set cruise at 75ish get about 41/42.

Mine has just got worse, with me struggling to drag it over 21mpg around town. Temp readings are fine, so I'm thinking that the MAF might be giving up the ghost. Bugger it.

Am now regularly seeing 40-41mpg from mine. My new regular commute up and down the M1 from J12 to J1 and back again in the evening. Thats sitting at 70 pretty much all the way. Have been really impressed with the figures since moving.

hi all

i get 28-33mpg on a 10 mile trip to work but when me lead boots are on i see about 12-15mpg but allot more interesting

I am currently getting 27 ish commuting. On motorway runs I would get mid 30's which is good as the car would be full (people and climbing/camping gear)

How would a remap effect this, I've got a 150 bhp not the vRS BTW?

the journey is shorter as well :D

28- 35 round town, traffic dependant

30- 40 mixed town & a roads

30- 50 ( yeah it does say fifty !) on the motorways dependant on whether you drive like your grandad, dad or just want to get there quicker . I am constantly amazed how bloody good the 1.8T really is . On one really lazy day , i averaged 54 mpg on an A road 50 mile round trip. Its painful , but possible !!!!!!
