Upgraded Diverter Valve

Featured Replies

Hi all just a quick Q, has anyone fitted the new type of diverter valve (piston type), rather than keeping the original one which is a diaphragm type?

Just curious if anyone has noticed any difference, new valve skoda have quoted me £48 sound about right to anyone? ;)

More of a reliability upgrade than a performance one. One or two folks mentioned that the new D revision valve solved some hesitation when accelerating in 3rd gear with a Stage 2 map but then there was some question of it just being the map bedding in.

£48 sounds about right if that includes VAT as that's what JKM sell them for.

i have had the latest revision diverter valve installed on my car and it appears to have removed a slight torque flat when accelerating. £48 + vat is what Skoda charged me as well

my diaphragm older edition was fooked big style, much better built, you'll only see a difference if yours is goosed at the moment though.

Are yor running the standard piston type from skoda/vw etc.. (£48 ish). Ta

Im running the new piston type valve ,my old one was not ripped but due to getting a remap it was better to get it changed as the old type are well known for splitting after a power increase.
