Winter Tyres?

Featured Replies

As the climate has changed a lot, in comparison to 20-30 years ago, no one can say what the weather will be in the next years.

I think, that if you want to stay mobile AND safe, invest in a set of winters and use them. All in all the extra cost is neglegible, because if not using your expensive summers they wont wear. (apart from having an accident if it gets too slippery)

There has been hundreds of threads over the past month or so about winter tyres. Winter or some All-season tyres are much better in temperatures lower than 7°C than Summer ones.

I do wonder how many of the people espousing them have ever used them, and how many are just spouting received knowledge.

There are numerous threads running on the subject, so i'm closing this one.
