in the French Superb Calalog, it appears that the Superb now has a small new aerial (like the one found in the Superb State). Does anyone know if this is true?

Hi, had a look on the web page french skoda yes it has a shark fin type on the saloon model as well I hate the antenna supplied with the car need to change mine for the new antenna hopefully they come colour coded or sprayable we will have to look into this me thinx

Took delivery of my Superb saloon in December 2009 and, indeed, it does have a small fin and no aerial. Not colour coded though - sort of a very dark grey / almost black on a steel grey car.
