Is this just for kids or is it the normal position that the strap should be in?

The idea is to stop the seat belt cutting across a child's face when the child is in a booster seat.

Rear seatbelts are the reason I'm not driving a 1.8 octavia - this was what we originally went in to the Skoda garage for as we wanted a big boot and a 0-60 in less than 10secs. My eldest had the seatbelt positioned round her neck though on her booster seat. She also felt really car sick and we had to stop the test drive.

Ended up with a 1.2 Yeti! Seatbelt fits nicely across her even without that little clip. She loves being able to see out more and spaciousness (height) around her. On a 1 hour test drive no sickness. Ho hum. Kids necks intact + vom-free car=happy (albeit slower and luggage-lighter) Mum.
