Anyone know if Skoda are going to fit the new 1.6 diesel in the Roomster at some point?

might do considering they will replace the 1.9 with it but not sure will have to wait and see

Almost certainly when the Roomster (and Fabia) gets facelifted this year. Both should be at the Geneva Motorshow in March and will get the new 1.6 CR-TDIs to replace the 1.4 and 1.9 diesels and the new 1.2 TSI to replace the 1.6 (and possibly the 1.4) petrols too.

Good, our Motability one doesn't get replaced until 2011 so should be in by that time.

Had a look at the specs for the SE and found its almost exactly the stuff I want but cheaper than the 3 I got! Sods law, eh! :wonder:
