new seat ibiza fr

seen this whilst i was browsing the net today and imo it looks quite good and it has the diesel engine in it. so you can buy the fr seat ibiza in both petrol and diesel, but they said the fabia vrs would only come with the 1.4tsi 178bhp engine fitted in the new ibiza cupra and a 7 speed dsg box , would be good if they anounced a diesel engined fabia vrs like the mk1, but instead of having the 2.0 tdi cr 141bhp engine that is in the fr it could have the same 2.0tdi cr but the 170 version with a 6 speed manual box because then this would be one seriously quick car imo with 170bhp standard and 258lbft B) i think it would sell as a better all rounder giving people the choice of either a petrol vrs or a diesel one.

some pics of the new seat ibiza fr tdi below

seat says 0-60 is 8.2 seconds and top speed of 130mph, its also fitted with an electronic lsd and the 2.0tdi 141bhp cr engine and claims it will do 60mpg and co2 of 119 g/km

doubt it would happen though as it would poo poo the Octy vRS CR170

Exactly, same reason the Ibiza doesnt get the CR170 but the lower model.

Waiting on the Ibiza Cupra TDi however, 170CR map to 230-240 with a DPF delete and im signing on the dotted line... with a manual box ;)
