I was under the impression from the Octavia brochure that the 5 spoke alloys fitted to my 2002 4x4 Estate were 'Ride' 6J x 16" wheels. However I have just had a look at the specification embossed on the rear of one of the spokes and found to my surprise that they are 6

Surely there is at least one 4x4 owner out there curious enough to check their wheel size? I used a small inspection mirror and a small torch to look behind the spokes.

Heh, I had all four off at the weekend, but never took a look.

I doubt the mirror trick would work on mine, as they are caked in brake dust apart from the face of the spokes!

(I'll try and check em out next weekend)

I need to rotate mine from front to back so I'll have a look when I do that (or before) But I must admit the back of my wheels are black with brake dust :oops:

Its partly based on a sketch of an RS I found, then played with it in Photoshop to make an estate, changed the wheels and a few other bits...

Cant help with the size of the wheels brochures I have looked in 'ride' show 6J only L&K and Rs showing 6.5J , but thanks for posting the wheel and type site very interesting
