You certainly wouldn't guess the size of the engine from listening to it. Sounded like a regular mid size four cylinder lump to me and not the high pitched whiny noise that you get from some small engined hatchbacks.

Hi you can hardly hear the 1.2tsi until you put your foot down then it sounds so good it growls at you.

Just loud enough not to be annoying in the cabin wonderful engine in a wonderful car
