And I didn't realise that no spare wheel vehicles didn't include a jack either... :o

I know!

Isn't that incredible if the tyre gunk demands that the wheel be removed before filling the tyre with the foam.

must remember to hang onto mine if I end up buying a new one at some point. Still think there is a good business oppurtunity here for a bulk buy of steel wheels (and jacks), for all those with no spares in new vehicles or wanting winter options.

Comments on hill hold are interesting as I find that mine occasionally sticks and does not release the brakes as soon as I lift the clutch. Never caused me real problems, only wish it was a real hillhold like the Subaru and stayed on until clutch is released no matter how long you have the pedal depressed and not just a few seconds. I have found myself sliding backwards occassionaly at the traffic lights :S

REPORT There is simply so much room in this car. The back seats are spacious and the boot huge, so it can easily transport four adult passengers and their luggage in comfort. It’s a truly wonderful family choice. Up front, there are no fiddly radio buttons to worry about, either: the touchscreen stereo is big and brash – just like the Skoda itself... The longer you go without opening the bonnet on a new car, the better. However, I’ve already lifted the Scout’s several times. Nothing serious, just topping up the screenwash. This car gets through a lot of the stuff – and the warning light doesn’t come on until the reservoir is nearly empty. On fleet since:2,500/ 38.8mpgCosts to date:Replacement tyre (£266)Engine / Power:2.0-litre 4cylOptions Fitted:Metallic paint (£665), electric tilt/slide sunroof (£400)
