Yeti and MDI

Featured Replies

I'm very excitied that I've just ordered a Yeti- a 1.2 TSI DSG Elegance in Steel grey with silver roof rails, park assist and tyre pressure monitor. Can't wait.

However, I'm very perplexed by the whole topic of MDI and ipod connection.

Can someone help me out and tell me:

- Does the Yeti have a 3.5mm jack in the jumbo box?

- Any word from anyone about when MDI will be available for the UK? Skoda UK and the dealer seem to have no idea. It does say in the accessories brouchure available Q1 2010.

- If anyone has expereience of MDI on other Skoda cars, can it be retro fitted.

Having had a Golf with an ipod connection, it would be something that I would not like to lose!

Many thanks

M

Dunno when or if it'll be available to retrofit, but got it in the Octavia & as long as you use your Ipod on it, it's great, use a HDD on it and the mix function doesn't do anything except shuffle songs within either folder or Alphabetically, as it does on a SDHC card.

The SD has a 3.5mm socket in the "Jumbo" arm rest.
