Disappointed bunny here. I ordered my yeti TDI 140 on 19 December and was expecting March delivery. Just been emailed by the dealer today saying its build date is week 10 which is second week in March I am guessing 4 weeks from build to delivery which put its mid April.

Ooh that’s a long wait, stupid Skoda ,why can’t they make them faster.

With both Superb and Yeti going down the same assembly line in Kvasiny, they are probaly busier than hell.

as much as i would want mine yesterday, I do not want them to rush it and get it wrong!

In a sentence bloody ages!!! I ordered mine in November it arrives next week....Oh boy I hope it is worth the wait?

Ordered my first one first week in August, built second week in September. Unfortunately not to spec; missing off-road function, SUK bless them thought it was a standard feature on all 4x4 Arrived in the UK at the end of the month and I believe she is now with Yonderend in Scotland.

Re-ordered fourth week in September, built on the 14th October and collected from the dealer on the 6th November. Bizarrely the first week in November was the original forecast for delivery

Ordered mine on the 29th of December. Scheduled production on week 8 (beginning of March). Scheduled delivery on week 10 (mid March). Fingers and toes crossed so that I can have it for Easter.

I think I may be in trouble then - ordered on Monday, need it for the 28th of March when the company car has to go back.

I think Skoda is not handling the number of orders so well ;-( You may be lucky though because I guess they may have to step up the production again...

Thanks Guys for all the interesting replies.

My dealer (Marlborough, London) has emailed me and said that week 10 may be provisonal and they get updates all the time.

Apparantly there are lots of Monsters being ordered so there is a delay (well they would say that wouldnt they).

So fingers crossed the build date might move forward.

I suppose it depends on the spec as they do the builds in batches.

I suppose left or right hand drive makes a difference to build week as well.

Sorry to hear about plumber getting the wrong spec and having to reorder thats a bit scary.

I wonder if the order time is also related to the choice of engine as with some other VW group cars? I ordered a 1.2TSI on 9th January with delivery expected end of March. People do seem to be talking about longer lead times for the TDI 140 or am I imagining it?

My order was confirmed yesterday (I think). I have an expected delivery of early april and my current Octavia is due back on the 8th of March so I'll join you in the walking!

Ordered mine Mid October 2009, built week 50, delivered Jan 12 2010. Seemed a long wait maybe christmas and new year got in the way.

Ordered 1.2 SE 13 Nov, due in local dealer mid Feb, will collect 1 March (hopefully!). Car currently awaiting a slot on a ship, hope the crossing isn't too rough !!

Ordered mine 3rd November - estimated delivery was 12 to 14 weeks. Car arrived in week 13, so I think thats on the nail.

Ordering before Xmas may have been more at risk in terms of accurate delivery time as the factory closes for a couple of weeks - I think - and when they re-open I guess they have to schedule the orders

submitted during this time and adjust the delivery to how many they have received whilst in the shutdown.

i ordered my 1.2 SE on 16 november and collecting on moday (1st feb) the estimate was late january so not far off

Ordered a few weeks back now. Had contact from the dealer who informs me its in for build week 9...and should be at dealer late Feb/early March....whoohooooo

Hello folks.

I've just ordered my new Yeti today. Gone for the 2.0TDI 110ps 4x4 SE with Off-Road button, rough road pack and 4 spoke bluetooth steering wheel and metallic paint (free upgrade from dealer). Can't wait to get it but from reading this I think its going to be April at the earliest before I will see it. *sob*

This is the first car I have ever bought from brand new so its all very exciting and scary at the same time!

I'd forgotten I had an account on here, must be left over from the days when I had a Felica.

Mine's come forward a week - build week 12 now.
