Lucky escape

Featured Replies

Went to see Avatar yesterday, went to tesco's on the way home, unloaded the shopping about 6.30 last nite, swmbo brought the last bag in, being a lazy ******* I locked the car through the bathroom frosted window as you can see the lights flash, went and ate my steak. My daughter came home this morning about 7am from doing whatever it is she does to her horse, and said did I know the boot hatch was open :o:thumbdown:

Fortunately it didn't rain or snow last nite and its very dark round here. I guess the battery is ok as well as it started ok.

Moral of story - don't be a lazy sod and check your car yourself :giggle:

A couple of times I've not shut the boot right sodding alarm always goes off at 3am if I do never right away. I've never left it wide open before tho.

I've left my car and house keys hanging out the front door lock all night! Not clever, I did it twice!

Swmbo has done the keys in the door thing as well. Some friends left there poor old Sierra with its sunroof and windows open in a storm - it never did get better

i've gone to work a few times and not locked the front door of the house

We left the house unlocked the other night.... and SWMBO has caught me leaving the keys on the outside of the door on more than one occasion! She's never impressed by that...

PS - ric... I need a word about your sky dish - pop over to that thread, please :)
