bonnet bra ?

Featured Replies

hey guys done a quick search

but no results does anyone know who does one just for the bonnet as ive found for the whole front end but that nasty

thanks

i think its due to the grill being encorporated with the bonnet, had a look a while back for one with no luck

I think they look a bit silly

 If you get any grit between the paint surface & the bonnet bra, It will cause more damage than If you didn't have one

This has been covered before a while back. There are some photo's of one fitted to an octavia somewhere on here.

I think the general concensus was that they make your car look like it's wearing a gimp mask.

Well, that and they're pointless anyway; they protect the leading edge of the bonnet, but I have more stone chips on the roof  than on the front foot of bonnet.

But you do have stonechips on your bonnet?

I've got chips on the leading edge of my roof too... Do they do a car hat?

Anything in silver? :giggle:

this is the unisex vesion, works on black and silver...

Take care though, this chap learned from experience that it doesn't stay on during vtak!

Stone chips are cool anyway, they're like battle scars!

There's nothing you can do to stop all stone chips, so why worry about something out of your control.

The octavia is galvanised to fu*k, so I'd be surprised if a stone chip rusts. None of mine do anyway.

Get a windscreen bra...........

Why do you seem to have a large collection of childrens shoes hanging from the rear view mirror???

He has a lot of kida maybe ...or maybe he moonlights in Death Race

Not only that but if you leave one on more than a week let's say they can bubble all the paintwork. I was reading this on UKMKIVS and decided it was time to brave it and take my Bra off  Sure enough there was a mist under the bra and the paint had bubbled and was ruined. I see no purpose as granted if they do protect from stone chips they in return completely ruin the paint that you are meant to be protecting so its senseless..

Yep I got mine from Autobra, had it for quite a while now.

I tend to leave it off and only use it if I'm heading down the motorway.
