Does anyone have a detailed procedure for removing the drivers door handle on the Octavia? It's driving me up the wall!!

In addition can someone with ETKA please check the part numbers and cost of a passenger door handle cover for the vRS to replace the one I smashed to bits at the weekend . I thankyou.

Eddy, Internal door handle assembly where the leccy window switches are.

To remove you first remove the black trim piece off the back (were you put your hand) by levering from below with a screw driver. Once that's off pull the handle upwards, when it's out unplug the switches. The switches then just unscrew from the back. P/N will be on the handle on the inside where you can't normally see. Thanks Eddy. I've removed the black plastic bit but didn't realise you need to pull it upwards. I'll give it another go...

Just get your fingers under the edges and it pops out, they're just a push fit on plastic tabs.
