Rear upper sturt brace

Featured Replies

Has anyone got one of these fitted?

If Yes is it worth it? and what are your veiws on the difference?

I'd be interested to know this as well.

I have fitted these to both of my Vrs's & they do make a difference, Not huge, But enough to notice & bit more taughtness through the corners...

If you think about it, Any bracing, is well, bracing.. If the fabia was a Saloon, It would have a Steel cross member below the rear Screen but being a hatch back, it only has the seats to fill the gap :D

I tend to fit these to all my car's, Be them Home made or Purchased Etc.

I too have the Forge rear strut brace fitted and to echo what Dean says it does make a noticeable difference to the back end. Taught as f00k coupled with the Jabba RARB B)

I might need to invest in one for the mongrel, although I wouldn't run it day to day I think. It would just be a PITA as I use the space.

they are a nightmare to get off after you fit one jase, took me about 3 bloody hours!!!!

Thought they would just kind of push fit against the metal work in the boot, then torque up tight? :giggle:
