Interested, I'm after a 22mm Whiteline adjustable RARB for the Mk1 Octy VRS, if can get it cheaper than £150 delivered on the group buy then :thumbup:

Any offer from Julian at BM. Sadly the non adjustable 22mm for the MK1 Octavia is not in stock, so you would basically get the adjustable var for the same price with the 15% off. Min 7 confirmed orders required and presumably you would need to make it clear you are part of the group buy.

Just a suggestion, but if we get at least 7 people confirming they are interested in one of the following items from Balance Motorsport from their stock at 15% discount, then those individuals should them be prepared to place an order with them under the group buy (no items will be despatched until at least 7 orders are made (including payment)). I will ask Julian for a link so that we are all ready to go once we have 7 confirmed buyers.

I'd be interested in BWR22XZ for the Octy2, if they had stock. Don't really want a 22mm non-adjustable one...

I see an adjustable 24mm rear bar, part no. BWR20XZ is available for the Golf Mk5 FWD models, on their website. So this would be suitable.

Can this be included as part of the GB then?

I've been away for a few days, but note that we may still be short with only 3 orders up to the 20th Aug on the dedicated web page. I wasn't expecting that we would fall short, but clearly are at present. I don't know whether Julian will honour the buys at the discounted price or say that we either have to then pay the difference up to their normal retail or get a full refund. I would hope he will honour the purchases made at the discounted price, but will have to ask should we still be below the 7 minimum orders by 1st Sept. If he insists we pay the extra, then i would cancel my order as i think this has been organised in good faith and Julian i would hope would feel it would be +ve PR to maintain the discounted price for those who have made a firm commitment.

He cannot or should not just charge the difference as that would be a serious breach of payment card rules.

Sadly i accept that some may have said they wanted it but either changed their minds, not have the money or found that BM doesn't stock the right sized bar they want. Hopefully we may still get to 7 yet.

If you're not sure if the bars listed in the GB will fit your car please call Balance Motorsport and if possible they will add the bar specific to your car to the group buy.

I've only just got back from a short vacation and posted yesterday from a library in Dorset on a very wet day

As Chicken Eyebrow suggests, if you are interested in a bar not listed, then give them a call and they may be able to sort you out with something. I am genuinely surprised more orderes haven't been made, but know a few of the guys were looking for the 24mm bar which wasn't a stock item. I don't see anyone offering a deal much better than this at any time in the future, and getting a group buy to work again will be even harder now that there is at least three of us getting the group buy on this occasion.
