Hi to everyone

Just become a fully paid up Skoda owner having just purchased a Skoda Superb elegance 170ps CR. I've been an admirer of this car and of Skodas in general since their makeover after VW ownership and now I've finally bought one. I sold a vectra 3.0 CDTi Elite before buying which had a fantastic V6 engine (when it ran ok!) but was expensive to fix when it didn't. Prior to that I had a SEAT Leon 1.9 TDi SE which had similar underpinnings and engines to the Golf and I never had any trouble with the engine over 100000 miles, the only trouble was, it leaked like a sieve! A known problem apparently with the first Leons.

I'm hoping that my Skoda ownership experience is going to be a happy one. I read this forum before buying my Superb and was encouraged by the lack of negative feedback, you all seem a very satisfied bunch!
