Thanks

Im trying to work out tho what thickness of adaptor to get as im not getting the wheels until my birthday and i want to order all the stuff i need before it. Do i need need longer wheel bolts aswell??

no..you will need the porsche wheelnuts tho..and you will need to see what offset the new wheels have and work out what adapter thickness will suit.

Porsche 17" 5 spoke twist alloy wheels + tyres

set of 4 17" genuine porsche "twist" alloys

5x130

rears are 8.5 x17 et55

fronts are 7x17 et50

a set for sale says 50et....fabia are 38et so 20mm ones will suit.

Thats great mate, sorry for the awkward questions just hard to work out when i dont have the wheels yet :S so the 20mm ones will be ok am wanting them to sit nice on the arches B) maybe even a bit of poke!

the porsche wheels being et50 will sit 12mm further in the arch than the et38 fabia alloys...so the 20mm adapters will take them 8mm further out...use 215-40-17 tyres imo.

You need to find out what car they came from.

A Boxster set of alloys have different offsets than those from a 911 even though the design is the same. so you cannot really get the spacer adapter until you know the offset of the wheels.
