Faster delivery?

i was quoted 8 weeks from placement of order to delivery, incl. PDI check etc. Ready for collection end of March beginning of April,

Im guessing it isnt specced up? I think this is what extends the delivery times mainly? I ordered first week of Jan and it was estimated as delivery in mid March. Its now expected late April/early May. :(

it's only got Sat Nav - which i guess isn't much of an issue to add. Elegance models really are well kitted out - so i can't owners having to add too many more options.

Anyone on here experienced delivery in 8 weeks? i think that's a bit optimistic bull**** from a salesman. I reckon i'd be lucky to see our Yeti in early April - i hear Skoda are overwhelmed with orders for 1.2 TSI DSG's.

On snoopy73's link the article mentions "The Skoda Yeti is a front- or all-wheel-drive five-seater based on the Volkswagen Golf V" really? i didn't think it was based on a Golf platform, but an Octavia's?

Krooked, I suggest you get a build week date from your dealer.

Back in December when I ordered a 1.2TSI DSG Elegance, I was told early March. Now I have a build date of week 11, and expected delivery sometime in April. Don't know why the DSG dates have slipped, it was originally meant to be build week 5.

Patience is a wondeful thing. Buy a road atlas. Take up fishing. Pityaka.
