You shouldn't need shorter droplinks in that case.

I'd reccomend getting some shorter rear bumpstops from a Seat Ibiza.

I started a thread about it a while ago.

Unit 18 are near Wellingborough, which is about 2 hours drive for you. I know that sounds like a long way to go, but Ross (Lummox) and Ally (AllyTech) are very, very good, at exactly the sort of thing you want done. They just ooze credibility and you get to see them working too. The roads around their workshop are good for testing driving through bends, high speed stability and the way in and out will allow you to determine whether the suspension is supple enough for you or not.

They're not the cheapest (they probably charge 75-80% of VW dealer rates), and they are a reasonable drive away, but in your neck of the woods, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

There is also JKM in Portsmouth, who are site sponsors,

I have also met Ninja_Alex who works with Browns, somewhere in Oxfordshire. He struck me as the sort of person I'd let work on my car. His family have been selling and servicing Skodas for a very long time, so that could be some form of recommendation if you don't want to drive all the way to Wellingborough.

Both Lummox (Unit 18) and Ninja_Alex (Browns) have built Fabia vRS estates and if you search about you'll see examples of both running good coilover setups.
