Just Bought A VRS At Auction...

Featured Replies

Well i bought my Leon Cupra TDi back in November, and the girlfriend sold her Cooper S and bought a £500 Fiesta. I had the Fezza up on the ramp the other week and it'd gone rotten, so she sold it and has been using my Cupra (i also have a 172 which ive been using)

Now, she's really tight with her money, so wanted another banger... until she's been driving my Cupra for a week and she decided she wanted somethnig abit more special! So, various cars were mentioned including A3s etc, but then i went to the auctions tonight and saw an absolutely pristine January 2005 54 plate 93k mile, unmarked black Fabia VRS, with a full service history by one owner from new, 6 months tax and 12 months test.

So, i bid on it and got it for £3900! Now im thinking this was a good price, given the condition etc, but am i right?!

Also, it had heated seats and cruise control, are these standard?

Thanks in advance!

it is a fair price, and sounds like a good buy

Well done you, assuming everything is spot on and it hasn't been pranged.

The heated seats and cruise were options, although there was a special edition, the stealth IIRC but can't remember when it was sold.

I just sold my 03/53 for £4.5k...

£3900 sounds a damm good price B)
