Hmmmmm! Where have you been hiding? B)

Never been keen on the yellow, but with the subtle black editions it looks schweet! Love the front splitter, and gear knob insert (been meaning to get one of these), what suspension are you running buddy?

Thanks mate. I wanted to complete the car before I posted so it doesn't look like its in dribs and drabs. Glad you like it. When i initially bought the car, it was sitting at the dealer for quite sometime and my guess was no body wanted it in yellow as it looked like a taxi or an unwanted ugly duckling (Apart from the fact Skoda is new in Australia, and the facelifted model was out, its a bit hard to think of any other reason). So I got my hands on it for a great deal and set out to make the yellow work and stand out in a tasteful but unique manner and I think I've pulled it off? Opinions please? Current suspension setup (until the Bilstein B8's arrive) is Eibach sport lowering springs with factory shocks and struts. Other supporting mods include Whiteline antilift kit, whiteline bushes, whiteline rear adjustable sway bar. So far all the above has completely changed the cars handling and drammatically improved it. Final thing left is theBilstein B8's to go in and then done. I'm also looking into whether the underbody unibrace from the Golf mkV gti will fit since the Octy has a bit of body flex.

LOL...wow what a keen eye you got there. Yeah I need to give them a good clean before i put on the 'vrs' stickers I bought for them ages ago. Been too lazy and didn't want to go pulling off the wheels.

It's screaming for a gloss black roof

Yeah I agree. Its still on my 'to do' list. Along with waiting for superskoda to bring out the carbon or gloss black pillar covers. i also want to get the interior trim strips covered in carbon vinyl too.

you could wrap the b pillars, mine are along with the roof, superskoda have got them anyway. As for your brake calipers, spray with muck off bike cleaner and work in with detailing brush, and then use autoglym super resin polish on them, they look like they have just been painted then. I take my wheels offand do every month that is why I noticed, I am a bit ocd :giggle:, as I said earlier apart from that looks sweet

Spoke to a local shop that specialises in vinyl car wrapping and got a quote to get the following done:

Carbon wrapping of:

-Roof

-Side mirror covers

-Bonnet?

-Rewrap of grill (with their material as the 3M stuff is very different in colour and texture)

Matt black wrapping of:

-door frame B pillars

Can't wait to get the car complete (cosmetically).
