great pics Nik car looking bang tidy! Do you never get any bother with the number plate ??

just read this thread from start to finish - so much Inspiration.

Im looking at getting a vRS 2.0T estate in the next few months to replace my Bora Tdi - currently stripping the mods off it and returning to standard so I can sell.

keep the pics coming please !!

on holiday recently in cornwall :D

Looks great! Particularly like the shot on the ferry, in front of the Jag. S-Type looks like it's on stilts by comparison emoticon-0103-cool.gif

Thanks for the nice comments guys! I got a lot of double takes in Cornwall, they love their VAG stuff down there :

The guys on the ferry had to get a plank of wood out for me to drive on as I was so low! :D Usually only used for Ferraris and Lambos the bloke said :

Never had any bother with the plates *touch wood* - I know they're not strictly legal but the registration is in a UK font so I think that's why they don't attract attention from the filth.

Lost my cable for my phone, thought I would upload my new photos( now I have a new one)

looking good Al! :D

Cheers , tried to change my Avatar too, only to find everything too big, even my original pic, which was fine before I removed it is too large now! another freedom advantage gone!

Had to make it well tiny, and zero pixals but did it

Looking lovely mate, I must say though after fitting my CH reps the zenith alloys look woefully inadequate in those arches. 10mm spaces required all round me thinks......

I really like your wheels, what process did you go through to get that colour?

Cheers

They are smoked chrome, powder coated, sandblasted to bare metal( removing tyres 1st) painted black, then chrome top coat and lacquer . The wheel specialist

They're really nice Al, very OEM+ :)

also whose DS3 is that?

post-53584-0-65308800-1318545003_thumb.jpg Cheers

It's on my New Year's resolutions list Alan, but they normally fail within a few hours :(

Sorry if you didn't see the funny side of it :S

Please stop diluting this thread with off topic posts. Thanks.

Anyone got White FL with white OE wheels?

Could do with a picture as I can't decide between metallic black or white wheels on candy white vRS.
