IT HAD 312mm brakes? ;)

Wow' date=' so I could just unbolt the hub and stick the whole setup straight onto my driveshafts?! :D (I think)

Sorry Dan - all this chatter must seem very inapporpriate at the moment. :([/quote']

you forget that i've known you all for a little while now so it seems less inapropriate and more like the Briskoda we all know and love........w4nk3rs :D

not much of any use on it anyway, the wheels which were lurvely are a bit shagged but could probably be refurbed? the front end is totally smashed with the front wheels pushed back into the arches, the roof is dented there is lots of engine damage and the chassis is twisted!!!!! bloke at repairers said it would need a reshell!! what bugs me is that the t0553r that nicked it fled the accident!!!!!! why didn't the tw4t die or at least lose some limbs, the force of the impact bent the pedals and broke the cluth pedal off!! and he ran away

I do however have a set of brand new in the box KW V2 suspension kit that I will need to sell and also some standard wheels with perfect tyres (Michelin).

Man, I'm sorry to hear about this. Hopefully the insurance company will pay out quickly.

This is pretty obvious, but please don't post here telling people how your car was stolen in much detail! I'm guessing they took your keys, as that seems to be the only way the scum can get into modern cars.

That's the spirit

Well, it just shows the solidity of the car or rather how well it protects the people inside. Jason can testify on that point too. Although in this case, I would have cynically wished for the contrary ;)

YOU KNOW YOU WANT THE KW2!

or maybe you want the eibachs? - ;)

Sorry to hear about this dan it sucks! I'd be interested in how it was stolen if it by having the keys stolen for you or just broken into and hot wired. Have to agree it would be best not to post them on the board!

Shame the TWOCer did kill himself really (is that too harsh of me?) What did he go into? I just hope it wasn't some poor bystander

Chin Up matey and I'm sure everyone here is feeling for you!

Jeez, and I thought I was unlucky :o

How much for the suspension (and can you wait till after christmas for the dosh)???????????

(I take it you will not be buying the wreck from the insurers so thats the 312's out of the question.)

There will always be someone who wants the wheels.

As long as the wheels don't come out like this. ;)

in my experience jas i'd say that wheel is slightly out of true, a few weights should sort it out, i've bent a couple skoda wheels now too. oops

I did two blowouts in one go on some bricks...(don't you dare misquote that one! :D) edges took a knock :( need to get em refurbed (am currently on cupra multispokes)

I don't see anything there... :D Builder's sites eh? :naughty: (sorry Ian :o) Is it worth me putting this smilie on here for the vRS, or is it inappropriate?

:wrthless:

Oh, and I gotta get back in touch with Welsh matey boy who got pics of my inverted car - Still not had them emailed to me! :grumpy:

With regards to how it was stolen, if there's anything other Skoda owners could do to prevent it happening to their cars that would be worth posting.

But as others have said, don't post a step by step guide to stealing a Fabia...!

But as others have said' date=' don't post a step by step guide to stealing a Fabia...![/quote']

Please do. Then we can do a step by step guide of preventing it.

trouble is if someone wants your car that much they will get around what ever you put on it, given enough time. Lets face it how many people here (be honest) takes much notice of a car alarm going off? When my saxo VTS was broken into some dizzy woman saw it happen and said to me oh I thought it was his car and his was having trouble with the alarm.

Anyway enough of my ranting I'll go back in my hole now

1. fit a steering wheel lock (at least

2. Lock the car

3. do not leave keys in car at any time

So thats were I'm going wrong. :D
