Featured Replies

Vega are huuuuge (covers bolts). Will get the parts guy at the dealer to show me all of them. :)

I know that, I meant the badge off the centre of it.

Yes but yours comes off nicks dont , your sure tho nick , your not being gentle are you lol.

Maybe - I'll have another go. I wasn't being too brutal tbh as they're genuine Audi ones and I didn't want to trash them if it wouldn't come off anyway. :giggle:

Ah. IIRC, it's just a thin sticker type affair? Will have a look at one on the car tomorrow.

RS861's are lovely :D

CH's are very nice too!

I did see a mention of someone fitting bbs caps to these the other day on another forum. But strangely, now they're on the car, I actually prefer the Audi caps so I've saved myself some effort.

The respondents in the linked thread were talking about aftermarket CHs, not Audi OEM ones. The 70mm caps don't fit.

These not fitted yet?

They are fitted.

Dropped it a tiny bit in photoshop on the last one to get an idea of how it will look on Friday.

Definitely. TBH, I'm really surprised there's still any on there after the abuse it's seen this winter, but that Zaino still seems to be holding on. It's still beading a bit and sheeting off to self dry quite well (albeit much slower). Some areas are getting ready for claying. I'll probably do it toward the end of next month, so I'll have to decide whether to do the whole car and re-polish and seal or leave it a bit longer. It's been on nearly 7 months now.

Good news then Nick and glad to hear the effort put in has yielded long term results.......

 looks good. those bbs suit the car.

Epic. As expected. B)

I still live in hope of finding a set of 17" 5x100 CHs... :dull:

lol, cheers Steve. Keep checking the classifieds - good things come to those who wait and that

btw - still got these wheel tree things for you and babs. I'm over at Awesome on Friday, are you around?

5yrs and still nothing. A set of 5x112 in an offset that couldn't possibly work is the closest I've come

Oh, and you have PM :D

Cheers,

Steve

I weighed them - 25lbs exactly. A pound more than the web had led me to believe, but not to worry.

24lbs is for aftermarket BBS...Many of the OEM wheels are pressure cast rather than the flow formed aftermarket CH wheels. Making the aftermarket wheel lighter and stronger.
