SMOGGIES RULE !!!

I found Motorscope in Northalerton the cheapest when I got a K&N filter for my Furby last year. It was only £37 and I think that included VAT. I bought it when I had a group RR day with SCN there. You may find it cheaper on eBay, but remember to add postage to the cost.

Furn, there are 2 ss in Teesside. It's Tees-side, not Teeside as you've got in your profile. ;)

Going against the grain here, but the OEM filters provide better filtration IMHO and if you change them every 10k miles you won't have any issues.

The dervs run with an excess of air anyway, so it's not going to make a huge amount of difference to one unless the filter becomes properly blocked and only then if the turbo is working away.

Don't know, a friend of mine used a CAI and found it helpful.

Personally I would not fit a K&N, wet filter using oil, going back I fitted Green (dry) for use with VAG units..........Oil played some issues with the MAF.... :o

I have used K&N in all my previous cars and have never had an issue with the MAF. That only happens if they get over oiled. Its not the filter at fault, its the person over oiling it! As long as you take time oiling and dab of any excess with paper towel. You will have no issues at all. I fitted a panel K&N to my 2.0Tfsi Octy and it runs much smoother than with the brand new paper filter that was fitted.
