Featured Replies

Hi all,

we currently have 6months left on our solutions deal on a golf GT sport. would a vw/audi/skoda dealer let me trade the car in for a new car before the end of the deal?

ive seen a nice A4 avant(used) at a good deal but was wondering if i can trade it in just now?

cheers

anyone??? surely someone has traded a car in early on solutions finance?

you can trade in at any time you want, they just offset whats outstanding on the finance (including the final payment) against the PX value of the car. What remains gets deducted from the price of the next car

good stuff, i asked a dealer about it a while ago but he said they wouldnt be keen on doing it, maybe they werent keen on the problems incase the car was worth more than the otstanding finance

If you have equity in the car you might be better to buy it then put it to webuyanycar.com.

My solutions deal is up in July, I'll have to pay £7k to keep the car but it's book price will be about £9k. So even if I want to get rid of it it I'll be better of to take it back first.

I'd make sure you know your settlement figure first. It should be as simple as part exing the car and the dealer settling the finance, and the equity being used towards the new one. Of if its in negative equity you will need to pay the dealer the balance.

Thay may add an admin fee.

Its pretty simple though, done it a few times without bother.
