Just had my windscreen replaced on my octy VRS 07 today by autoglass through my insurance.

My wife took it while I was at work and I made sure to tell her to check the mileage, for cracked or damaged facias and that the wee clip at the drivers side was put back on but not the actual glass/sunstrip as I expected it to be right.

They have fitted a windscreen with only a part sunstrip above the rear view mirror. ???

Now when the guy on the phone asked me what it had I specifically went out and double checked (while he was on the phone), so what should I do?

What variations are there for the VRS and what should be standard on them?

It looks like a plain octavia.... (no disrespect to the other octavias)

My FL VRS only has the strip above the rear view mirror... Original windscreen (well, it was only registered 4 and a bit weeks ago)

likewise my Le only has a strip by the rear view mirror

Mine's the "new shape", yes, but the Limited Edition is the same shape as yours.... Guess the newer windscreens only come with the strip above the rear view mirror...

Neighbours defo has full width, i thought I was going crazy for a moment.

i Seem to remember on here that one of the cost savings on the FL as well as the "no spare tyre" was that there was no sunstrip. Sounds like theyve put you an FL VRS window in. Mines got a sunstrip by the way

I have a 2007 VRs and can confirm that i do not have a full sun strip and only a piece of spotty print around the rear view mirror about a foot long.
