My drivers seat has a collapsed right bolster, and the only set I have seen that are the same are £170 (for all of them) which seems a little excessive when I only need one seat.

My question is, is it possilbe to swap the seats around from passenger to drivers side? I know the pockets are going to be wrong, but would the seat belt pretensioners be on the wrong side, or are they seperate to the rest of the seat?

You could get a set of seat covers to colour match??

is it just the foam that has collapsed? you can get a new foam and replace, I had this done under warranty.

Ideally I'd like the same pattern, purely as it'll be easier to sell on, and I can't store a spare seat until sale time comes around. Otherwise I would be interested in Jasons, but don't fancy having to recover them, as it sounds pretty hard work and mine has some queer pattern on so finding covers to match is going to be hard as most are black/grey.

Have you tried the local dealer? Can't see it being more than an hours work and you'd hope a piece of foam would cost the earth. Could work out chepaer than a secondhand interior

Not yet no, will pop down tomorrow if their part dept is open on Saturdays, if not will have to be when I get a day off uni next.

I'll dig out my receipts in the morning to see if any info is on the warranty invoice

Failing that plenty of car seat repair places that will do it for you.

Wessex Trimmers (02380 224901) are an example of such a company.

They are in Soton, but if you're in Oxford it could well still work out cheaper to drive down and have them repair it than replace it with an old part. They may also be able to recommend a company in your area otherwise.
