Hello & 1st Question re Octavia Estate

Featured Replies

Hi All

i just took delivery today of my lovely 2006 Octavia 1.9TDi L&K estate....

I've got a small question re the stereo sysyem;the manual refers to an 'aux input' which i presume is on a min-jack or phono connectors.

Could some kind soul tell me where the input/cable is actually located, is it somewhere behind the stereo unit itself ie hidden in the trim or somewhere more easily located as i'm hoping to connect an i pod.

I guess the other alternative is to buy one of those i pod tuners if not.

The stereo is the non satnav version with a cd changer in the boot.

Many thanks in advance

Marc

Thanks, but no sign of it under the centre arm rest, it's the 'Stream' model of stereo with boot cd changer.

Looking at other posts re this subject i;m guessing i'll need to take the stereo unit out and fit a cable.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Marc
