The dogbone mount on my vrs to try and cure the annoying creaking noise.but there is no difference, the noise is still there when i change gear or accelerate.feels loads better with the new mount but im stuck where the noise is coming from.anyone have any ideas what to check next?thanks

could be your engine mounts, there was a few threads on here about spraying them with a grease i think

Yes, Nearside engine/gearbox mount. Liberal coating with PTFE based grease shuts them up for a while.

well,i got some ptfe based spray grease and sprayed it onto the drivers side mount and the noise has gone is the gearbox mount under the airbox?want to give that the once over aswell.
