A mate of mine had his 1.9 Tdi Audi A4 remapped by an ex Audi tech, cost about £300? I think, the results..wow it went from 130 brake to 185, power right through and was / still is a seriously fast car, with awesome pulling power, the car was at the time on over 100k miles and had now done around 250k miles and still goes like a train.

He has an oil/filter change every 10k miles and nothing else really, proof that if done right its worth it, theres some serious power still to be released from these engines if done properly, im not kidding when I say he thrashes the car and it seems to thrive on it.

I did enquire about a 1.9 re-map at Chipboost which isn’t far from me when I was looking at Octavia’s but I ended up buying a 2.0, he said they go from 105 to about 140 and are really nice to drive. Being smoother as well as quicker.

400 quid from JKM and it is a different car a hell of a lot quicker, did mine this week - its worth it if you are not happy with the standard performance if your not fussed then I guess its not worth it?

It "feels" a hell of a lot quicker than my old focus 2.0 tdci 136bhp as in 0-60 .................................also less engine drone when pushed at motorway speeds than standard 105bhp

Bluefin delivered 2.30pm on the road remapped and all 3pm (never seen one before)

PS get an insurance quote FIRST mine was the same as my focus :)

JKM rolling road have a graph posted up at 150bhp so who knows, my car still under warrenty so I went for the DIY Bluefin so I can switch it back in 10mins on the driveway if needs be ie back to the dealer etc.

Hi, been looking into this, i have heard alot of Evolve tuning from the BM owners club i spoke to them an they reckon 135bhp is achievable.

We tune these to around 140bhp and these can also be done using our Self Tuning System :)
