Will a 17" Spider alloy fit in…

Featured Replies

As per title really – without taking out the spare and removing a wheel to test it, does a 17" Spider alloy with 225/45 tyre fit in the spare well of a 1.8T Elegance?

I know the vRS came with a full size spare but don't know about the 1.8T.

Cheers

Yes it should do. Mine is a TDI 130 elegance with a 205/50/17 Spider Alloy in the spare wheel well. Fits a treat!

Wheel well is the same size regardless of model, so yes it will fit.

Lovely jubbly

Thanks folks. Now I just need to find a mint 17" Spider, swap it with my badly dinged one, and put the dinged one in the boot as the spare. ;)

I've got one mate! uit out. PM me or text on 07725002236 and make me a reasonable offer
