New Vw Passat Coupe....is The Tudor

Interesting site.

Hunting around there, I came across this although I had to hack about with the html to get the filename.

Its down in the Bora section but it sure looks like the replacement octavia.

Hmmm, you're right, it looks a *lot* like the artists impressions we saw:

Also, the site's Golf V page has some specs that could be a signal towards the Octavia MkII. It will be taller, wider, longer (wheelbase increase by a whopping 10cm - that's 4") and heavier (over 50kgs) than the Golf IV. The 5-door looks HUGE! There is also an independent rear suspension coming up, finally.

And NO TURBOS in the petrol line-up, leaving a big gap between the 150hp 2.0 FSI and the 240hp 3.2 V6.

Furthermore, Bora isn't expected to arrive before mid-2005.

And finally, Golf V base price is lowered by 3%, so where does that leave Skoda?

Better prepared to hang on to your vRS's and 4x4s for some time longer...
