vRS Front Bumper Questions

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I may be fitting a vRS front bumper to my non-vRS Graphite Grey Elegance PD100, to suit this:

It's a post-facelift 05 plate. Am I right in saying I'll also need new foglights and foglight surrounds?

Here's the front of the car at the mo, I know some of you know the car but does no harm :)

Foglights are the same, not sure on the surrounds though. You would only need to change the foglights on the prefacelift version.

Yes RS fog lamps & surrounds are different.

Looking good in that colour btw.

As far as i know, and as Mannyo states,

Post face-lift lamps are the same, and i'm 99% certain the surrounds are different. :)

Thanks folks, but I'm sure that the screws were in different positions on the vRS foglights, can anybody confirm?

Ta :)

Also, Milotec don't do a lower mesh grille for the vRS bumper :S So can anybody tell me where I can get the same or similar kind of mesh? See my pic above to see the effect I'm after.

Sorry, RS fogs are the same right through. But they are different to elegance ones.

Yeah, the search function is not my friend, it just brings up too much random unrelated stuff :dull:

RS fogs, The securing screws are driven in from the top of the lamp assy, Requiring the bumper to be removed to fit/remove.

And the surrounds are completely different, Sorry, Probably not what you wanted to knowemoticon-0120-doh.gif

I had a feeling that might be the case...it doesn't put me up nor down really, just means I know what bits I need if I do go down this route (nothing's certain yet, got an exhaust to fit first).

Thanks :)
