Octavia L&K

Featured Replies

Just thought I'd post a few pictures of my Aunt and Uncles L&K they picked up today. I will try and get some pictures of both the Combis to post at some stage.

A Big thanks to Geoff @ A.E.Withams for making the whole process fun! Hopefully I will bully my uncle into joining the site.

Very nice too. I pick mine up tomorrow - L & K 1.8TSI DSG estate - Rosso Brunello. Parked my trusty Mk1 1998 1.9TDI Octavia out of the way on the grass (ready for sale) tonight for the last time. Definitely mixed feelings - that Mk1 still runs as good as new (108000 miles)

It's... beautiful!!!!

Will auntie and unc let you post some pictures of the interior? Especially would love to see the centre console in the back :D :D :D

Nice

And don't your family have strikingly similar facial features - it's uncanny :giggle:

:giggle: indeed you can tell my skills with any paint programme is limited :p

They have gone for the black interior half leather and alacantra will see if I can get some more picks this weekend weather permitting.

I like the features which I think the vRS should have the electric folding mirrors, the little lights in the door handles the lights in the morror that point down (puddle lights?)

I have to say the 1.8TSI is really quiet and they are well chuffed, far better than the Jag they have just got rid off. Lucky me will also be looking after it for them for a week whilst they are on their hols, I know its a terrible job but some one has to do it :p

Withams is a great little long established business;I've bought two vehicles from them and the process has always been hassle free and freindly.

I've had my L&K 1.8 TSi DSG Combi for two months and agree about the refinement, far better than my previous Rover 75. I opted for Aqua blue with light grey leather together with Columbus, sunshine roof, silver roof rails and front parking sensors. So far I've added rear door kick plates and i'm thinking of adding footwell lights. Performance is amazing but comes with quite a fuel consumption penalty.

Well just an update on my uncle and aunts Octavia. On the way home from work my uncle was rear ended. So on the 11th day of ownership some numpty has smashed it for them. Not sure how much damage but it will have to go through the insurance.

Nice start to a new car for them.
