Am I missing something

Featured Replies

Hi All

Just picked up a used rimmster today am a little cofused by the rear seats, I can get the seats to go all the way back to where the parcel shelf is. I can lean the rear outer seat back so the head rests are on the shelf but I have no rest on the middle seat and it does not go back as far as the other 2 leaving a hole where everyone can see what's in the boot.

Can anyone shed any light on where I may be going wrong.

Your not going wrong at all. It's one of the Roomsters quirky desgin features

It has obviously been of concern to some people for Skoda to retail quite possibly the worst retrofit accessory in history to cover said gap between the seats and parcel shelf.

Wooot! a bit of fabric and some velcro. :peek: That'll be £21 of your English pounds please and we'll call it a Boot Cover :$$$: :$$$:

 and I thought I was going mad. What a wierd design. You would have thought its slightly pointless having a parcel shelf.

Thanks for the reply

I use a black sheet to cover the contents of the boot. It's a lot neater and almost as effective as the boot cover.

I've found one advantage though. I can keep the dog guard in place and still use the parcel shelf when the dog isn't in the car.
