Just got bad news tonight friend of a friend who was looking at engine says engine top end had run dry and no oil getting to camshaft/crankshaft.His words were top end is "all chewed" .Any suggestions if its just replace the top end ,replace full engine ,or cut my losses and scrap it.Fed up now  :'( :(

just drop a new engine in go around the forums and you should find a full engine for around £500-800 complete.

it is actually alot easier to swap the engine than it is to strip it...
