Fabia rolling roaded

Featured Replies

got ma fabia rolling roaded yesterday and was really surprised by the figures.

putting out 159.4 bhp and 261.8 ft-lb torque standard.

don't think its been mapped but what are the tell tell signs to show if it has?

very little turbo lag i.e pulls from 1k to 4.5k with no sudden surge of power mine pre remap was very lumpy with the power once you hit 2.5k it was off now it pulls no matter what rpm your at sounds like your engine is just a good one my meriva vxr should have been 178bhp and 230ft-lb it was rolling roaded at 201.5bhp and 234ft-lb so just depends on the car mate

wow thats quite impressive! is your engine BLT or ASZ? and what milage are you on out of interest?

i got mine remapped last weekend and it was showing 145bhp before the map, i was pretty shocked to say the least. no complaints with that though obviously

was expecting it to make more than 130 bhp anyway as they usually do bt wasn't expecting such a difference. its about just over 2k that she starts to pull really well

what power is the fabia putting out now that its been remapped?

178bhp and 285ft-lb

BLT engines usually put out about 140 - 145 BHP as standard. I would say the car has had a mild map.

not from what i've seen,150-155 all the asz's i've seen standard have been putting 140-145 down, the blt's a little more,my first awesome rr day with my se and it ran 155 along with the other blt car,the asz's were running 145 ish,and the ever reliable 140 honda ran exactly what it said on the tin 138bhp

Mine did alomst the same on JKM's rolling road :)

152bhp and 255 lb/ft - BLT engine code with a green panel filter!

Also depends on the rollers, some over/under read.

I know dyno dynamics are supposed to be the best though and all standard cars met the figures they were supposed to!

Like said, it all depends on the roller and the operator :)

My vrs was pushing before the re-map 140bhp and 267ft/lb and now running after the map its 172bhp with 340ft/lb

the rollers the car went on are normally quite reliable when it comes to power figures

Has anyone actually ever RR'd lower than 130bhp?

How does mileage effect the power figures? I've never been sure.. could a well looked after motor on 80k actually produce more power then when it had done 20K due to being looser?

thats cleared it up looks the exact same as mine. made me a very happy. :)
