Featured Replies

Hi all.. spent quite some time reading through the forums now,(some great info by the way many thanks), but have decided to make my first post.

I have just bought my 05 fabia vrs in yellow and love it! everything i could ask for in a car. I want to start making some subtle mainly appearence modifications. so pretty much just asking for some suggestions from you guys.. am thinking of getting alloys powder coated black and maybe some black mudflaps, what does everyone think?

Many thanks for a great forum! :D

Black (or indeed white) wheels work well with the yellow , welcome to the forum btw.,

not whored any pics of my old fabia round for a while so here you go

Welcome :)

Plenty to choose from :)

I think purple wheels would go well...or is that me! also spraying the crome surround on the grill black would look good to.

many thanks to all the replies havent thought about white wheels but now you mention it im tempted? has anyone any pictures of it? i just read the post on getting the chrome surround carbon wrapped.. but think i would have to buy a spare grill to send off! cant really lower it or anything yet as my insurrance enough already!!! loving this forum so much info many thanks.

Have a look at the Fabia Alloys Archive (should be the first pinned post at the top of Fabia page- it might take you a while though!) you will find plenty of wheel ideas in there!!

I reckon...

Cupra splitter, body coloured grill surround, black alloys, VW shark fin ariel, and leather upholstery (I don't like the standard vRS interior to be honest). Usually, I'm not a big fan of large alloys on the Fabias, but if you're willing to add the bigger Audi brakes, they can look really smart as well.

Also, go for the Octavia vRS badges because - in my opinion - they look nicer than the Fabia ones.

Need some before-and-after pics too, by the way ;)

Try Seat Surgeons

They apparently do a special deal if you tell them you're on Briskoda. It's typically between £800-£1000 for a retrim depending which of their vast options you choose.

Alternatively, I found (a couple of years back, now) a site that sold Skoda spares, and they sold sets of vRS SE leather seats for £1,300 new. I can't for the life of me remember the site name or URL, but at least that's a price guide.

Another modification that I'd like to see is like the body coloured grill - except buy some of the chrome interior stuff (as shown here) and get it sprayed body coloured.

I think that might look nice... But I've never seen anyone that's done it. B)
