Yeti Alarm - How do you disable it?!

Featured Replies

I can't seem to find how to lock the Yeti without the alarm being activated. I leave the dog in the car often and she keeps tripping the alarm. The owners manual give instructions on how to disable the alarm each time the car is left, but not permanently. How do I permanently disable the alarm? Anyone know?

Not sure about permanent (pull the fuse ?) but for temp, there is a press-switch on the drivers door pillar.

I think its press the lock button twice on the key.

There is also a button on the door piller by the driver, this can be used if the remote does not work.

You can only disable the internal sensors on an individual basis, do this by pressing the button on the inside of the B pillar drivers side. Disabling the alarm completely is not possible, and if it was will most likely cause insurance issues as you will need to notify them you have done this because it will affect your premium as its based on the car having an alarm.

Thanks, seems pressing the lock button twice works. That should save my dogs hearing!

In theory, pressing the remote twice should allow for the doors to be opened from inside, not disable the internal monitor of the alarm...

The button in B pillar should disable the internal monitor, and diff lock.
